  2. A large round piece of metal sheet: Any other non-flammable material can be a good substitute to metal sheets. The metal sheet placed under the fire pit (when cooking goes on top of concrete surface) saves the floor or surface from getting permanent black. The metal sheet is also good for surfaces like gravel, or dirt. For best results, you should get metal sheets a bit larger than your fire pit.
  3. A mesh cover – Very often, the whole experience of fire pit cooking is disturbed by burning embers from flying out of the fire pit. A nice mesh cover is very useful to prevent this. Along those lines, with varied sizes, dome mesh lids are available in home supply or home improvement stores. In fact, this can be found in the same stores where we purchase grill accessories and fire pit accessories.
  4. Round Grill Grate - This is a great fire pit accessory as it doubles the out door fire pit. In other words, it enhances the capacity of an outdoor fire pit as an out door barbecue system. The size of the round grill grate will be equal to the top of the fire pit. This is important as it is meant to help cover the diameter of the fire pit. This can be really handy for cook with better retention of heat.
